JOSEPH CARICARIPARTNER, ARCHITECTAs a founding partner of Caricari Lee Architects, Joseph facilitates collaborative design with clients and consultants creating buildings that are efficient relative to site, program and systems in a thoughtful composition of light, form and materials. Joseph also focuses on all aspect of developments assisting clients to ensure successfully executed projects.

david lee
partner, architectDavid’s professional experience has spanned nearly 25 years. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto architectural programme where he was the recipient of an award and 3 scholarships for academic excellence. He apprenticed and developed his skills as an architect at various respected architectural firms, including Montgomery Sisam Architects, Fentress Bradburn Architects Canada, AJ Tregebov Architect and Taylor Smyth Architects. His professional work is diverse with a broad range of experience in retail, office, industrial, residential and heritage projects.
David is a founding partner of Caricari Lee Architects and is LEED certified. He has a flair for design and is responsible for the administration of various projects in the office. |

Early in her career, Michele worked in various organizations as an Office Manager. Michele ensures the efficient day-to-day operations of the office and the administrative requirements of all projects. She is responsible for interior finish coordination, marketing and promotion, client relations and office administration. Michele is a member of the Society for Design Administration, an organization that promotes education and best practices in design firm personnel. She is the recipient of the SDA Roni Award for 2017.

Robert has been interested in architecture since high school, where he won a competition to design a cottage for one of his teachers. Assisting his father with the construction of their family homes as well as working for a construction company for two years, has provided Robert with practical and theoretical knowledge of building construction. With over 30 years of experience, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects in the public and private sectors as an Architectural Technologist, Job Captain and Project Manager.
Robert is proficient in all phases of architectural projects, from client coordination and programming to construction administration. He has worked on a variety of industrial, commercial, institutional, hospitality, pharmaceutical, recreational and residential projects. |
LILY BUTLER
INTERN ARCHITECT
Lily’s interest in Architecture began back in high school, with an exuberant art teacher and a love for design. After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture, Lily had the opportunity to gain experience at an Oakville firm where she was introduced to all aspects of the architectural process within institutional, residential and commercial projects. Her passion for adaptive reuse and the environment is something she hopes to pursue further at CLA and in the future within her education.
Lily's desire to explore the built environment and experience different cultures has led to her love of travel. She recently returned from a year in Australia where she worked as an Architectural Consultant. |
ALLISON cHENG
INTERN ARCHITECT
Allison is a graduate of the University of Toronto's Master's of Architecture program. Prior to joining Caricari Lee Architects, she has interned at offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Madrid and Shanghai. During her internships abroad, she was able to broaden her perspective of architecture and design through working within different cultural frameworks. Allison's experience includes work in residential, retail, office and industrial projects.

ALISA BIUNNOASSOCIATE - DESIGNERAlisa Biunno has worked with CLA for many years and is dedicated to creating spaces for clients that reflect their personal style and taste.
With over 20 years experience, Alisa has created very strong relationships with all of her trades. Knowing there are usually changes and unforeseen issues during any renovation, her relationships are a key factor to maintaining a successful end result. Alisa's work has been featured in Style and Home magazine and other publications. |
